Start of sales in Ukraine - summer 2013. It is a front-wheel drive five-seater C-class hatchback.
The concept model was first introduced in 2011, and a year later, the production version debuted in the Chinese market. The car has an interesting design a la Honda Civic and a traditionally rich list of equipment for representatives of the Celestial Empire.
The MG5 is supplied to the Ukrainian market with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine (106 hp, 135 Nm). The engine is equipped with a variable valve timing system and can be paired with a five-speed “mechanics” or a four-speed “automatic”. Six airbags and a stability control system are available for the model.
For the body are offered 7 colors: classic (white, black, light and dark gray) and brighter (purple, red and orange). The interior upholstery provides two colors (beige and black) and can be either fabric or leather.
The hatchback is made in China.
