MG6 sedan - The first premiere of the sedan model took place at the Shanghai Motor Show in October 2010. Then the company began deliveries to foreign markets - including the UK, as well as Ukraine, where sales of the car started in early 2013.

As for the platform liftback MG6, the implementation of which on the Ukrainian market began a year earlier, a long list of additional equipment is available for the sedan. Depending on the configuration, a wide range of active safety systems is provided for the model, which includes anti-lock brakes, even distribution of braking forces, emergency braking assistance, and course stability control.

To ensure passive safety, the car can be equipped not only with frontal, but also side and curtain airbags for front and rear passengers.

In addition, for the MG6 sedan, the developers have provided leather upholstery, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable and heated front seats, power windows for all doors with anti-pinch function, DVD / MP3 multimedia with 8 speakers and AUX / USB connectors, rear view camera, 8 parking sensors, electric panoramic sunroof. As a power plant, the buyer can choose one of two 1.8-liter gasoline engines. The first engine is atmospheric (133 hp and 170 Nm of torque), the second is turbocharged (160 hp and 215 Nm).

The 133-horsepower engine is installed only on the basic versions of the model and is aggregated exclusively with a five-speed manual.

A turbocharged 160-horsepower engine is available only for medium and top trim levels and can work with both “mechanics” and a five-speed automatic with manual gear shifting using steering column switches.

The MG6 sedan is produced in China.
